Sucré: New Orleans’ Sweet Treat

Whether you’re looking for feuilles de brioche, éclairs or artisanal chocolates, you can’t beat Sucré!.
This emporium of everything “sugary” (3025 Magazine Street, New Orleans) is open seven days a week to satisfy your sweet tooth.
My favorite (hands down!) are the French macaroons — light almond meringues sandwiched with creams and ganaches. Choices include cassis, chocolate, gianduja, lemon, orange marmelade and pistachio, but if you’re really looking for an indugence, try the macaroons filled with semisweet ganache and coated in dark chocolate.
Yum! Watch ’em being made here!
If you can’t make it to New Orleans, you can order the delights online.
