Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival
Food Network chefs Guy Fieri (Diners, Drive-ins & Dives), Sandra Lee (Semi-Homemade), Pat & Gina Neely (Down Home with the Neely’s), Ted Allen (Chopped), Sunny Anderson (Cooking for Real), Anne Burrell (Worst Cooks in America), Claire Robinson (5 Ingredient Fix), Alex Guarnaschelli (Alex’s Day Off), and Melissa D’Arabian (Ten Dollar Dinners) are just some of the reasons Road Trips Foodies should add the Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival to their summer travel plans. Events take place July 29 through August 1, 2010, in various locations in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Highlights are:
• Sommelier Showdown: The Ultimate Blind Tasting where three top sommeliers will go head-to-head in a blind tasting moderated by celebrity sommelier Michael Green.
• Jersey Tomato Brunch with Claire Robinson featuring a five course brunch paired with Jersey Tomato-inspired specialty cocktails.
• Sweet & Stylish Hosted by Sandra Lee blending designer fashion, sensual desserts.
• Guy Fieri’s Cheesesteak Battle where regional chefs go head to head in the ultimate battle of the best to see who will receive the award for top cheesesteak.

The festival is hosted by Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah’s Resort, Bally’s and Showboat, and a portion of the proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
