Harvest on the Harbor
The annual Harvest on the Harbor takes place October 21-23, 2010, at the Ocean Gateway in Portland, Maine.
There is truly something for everyone, whether you’re already a full-fledged foodie, an emerging gourmand or just a Road Trips Foodie who likes good regional cuisine.
This year, there’ll be two tasting sessions for the Savory Samplings Marketplace, an increased assortment of wine, beer and spirits from Maine — and around the world, and a Marketplace with hundreds of Maine-made products, food artisans, epicurean purveyors, live music and cooking demonstrations.
The complete schedule is, of course, online, including the “The Ultimate Seafood Splash” kickoff on October 21 and the “Maine Lobster Chef of the Year Competition” on October 22. The Marketplace is October 23. You’ll also find information on ordering tickets in advance (the only way to guarantee you’ll get in if the event you want sells out).
