The 37th Annual Sweet Potato Festival takes place November 6-13, 2010, in Vardaman, Mississippi — the Sweet Potato Capital of the World!
And, you guessed it from the photo, at left, didn’t you, Road Trips Foodies? There’s a Sweet Potato Pie-Eating Contest!
The Vardaman Sweet Potato Festival Committee has published a cookbook, “Cooking with Sweet Potatoes”. There are some sample recipes from the popular collection online.
