“Chocolate: Seed to Sweet”, an exhibit on chocolate from tree to candy, is open at the Atlanta Botanical Garden, 1345 Piedmont Avenue NE, Atlanta, Georgia, through January 2, 2011.
Road Trips Foodies will go behind the scenes of chocolate making, from the roots of the cacao tree to candy factory confections. The interactive journey features a giant cacao pod and a 20-foot flower dome that bring to life the history, production and uses of chocolate around the world. The experience wraps up inside a miniature factory that showcases the candy-making process.
Each week there are classes and demonstrations, and every visitor leaves with a bite of chocolate . . . sweet!
