Seafood Festival in Apalachicola

The 47th annual Seafood Festival will be held November 5 and 6, 2010, at the mouth of the Apalachicola River in Battery Park, Apalachicola, Florida.
Said to be the oldest maritime festival in the Sunshine State, it includes great seafood but also arts & crafts and entertainment.
If you’re planning to be there, Road Trips Foodies, keep in mind that almost all of the signature events are November 6, including the Oyster Shucking Contest, the Oyster Eating Contest, Blue Crab Races and the Seafood Cooking Contest.
