It’s time for Christmas Ale!

Submitted by on December 22, 2010 – 8:49 pmNo Comment

Wandering the snowy roads in Kent, England, this month? Keep out winter chills with a rich, hearty bottle of Christmas Ale from Shepherd Neame. This glowing amber beer comes with a heady, fruity nose, and is the perfect accompaniment to the traditional sticky pudding sweetness and spice of Christmas fare.

Another seasonal favorite is Shepherd Neame’s Winter Hop Ale. The full-bodied ale gives an entirely pleasant chest-warming sensation and is great to share with a loved one on long, winter nights.

Also worth sampling is the Ramsgate Brewery‘s Little Cracker, a yuletide special crafted with crystalized rye malt for a bright redberry flavour and well bittered with a melange of the spicier Kent hops to lend a distinctively festive character.
