Holland Peanut Store
Dunno why it’s called the Holland Peanut Store, Road Trips Foodies. Sure, it’s in Holland, Michigan, and yes, it sells peanuts but — the place is so much more than just an homage to that down-home legume.
Since 1902, the Fabiano family has provided small-town service, fresh roasted nuts and all sorts of sweet confections to Hollanders and visitors alike. The current incarnation, started by Paul and Esther Fabiano in 1955 and now owned and run by their children (Celeste, Paula, Mary and Tom) is located at 46 East 8th Street, Holland, Michigan.
Besides the handmade chocolates, the Peanut Store has huge bins of hard candy and classic sweets like Sea Foam, Mallo Cups, and Necco Wafers. Don’t leave without indulging in their signature hand-dipped ice cream bar: the Nutty Paddle Pop.
