Slow Fish in Italy

Those of us who enjoy eating fish can learn more about sustainable fish production and responsible consumption at “Slow Fish” in Fiera di Genova, Genoa, Italy. This international show, set for May 27 through 30, 2011, is dedicated to the fish world and its problems.
The show, which takes place every two years, is organized by Slow Food and the Regione Liguria. The 2011 edition will highlight the fisherman trade. It will concentrate on coastal fishing and how to preserve fishermen’s economic rights as well as resources.
