A Father’s Day Brunch
Your Road Trips Foodie isn’t a big fan of special Sunday brunches, but this one is worth a drive.
“Chocolate, Bacon, & Beer” is the theme for the Father’s Day Brunch at Co Co. Sala, 929 F Street, Washington, D.C.
Start off with a Bacon Bloody Mary or a Beer Bellini. The amuse bacon is a Bacon Mac & Cheese Bite. Then sample dishes from Executive Chef Santosh Tuptur including French Toast S’mores, Breakfast Flatbread (including bacon), Crispy Louisiana Crabcake (with chipotle chocolate tomato glaze) and Bacon Grilled Cheese with truffle-scented brioche. Dessert? How about a Funky Monkey Tart featuring bananas, chocolate and bacon or a S’More Crème Brulée?
The brunch runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 19, 2011, at $36 per person.
