If you’ve ever felt the need to celebrate all things garlic, then you’ll understand why Road Trips Foodies have put Gilroy, California, on their travel schedules for July 29 through 31, 2011.
Yes, it’s almost time for the 33rd annual Gilroy Garlic Festival, which includes cooking demonstrations, competitions and tastings alongside live music and entertainment.
Already on order are 10 tons of beef, four tons of pasta, four tons of calamari, two tons of scampi and (of course) two tons of fresh garlic.
