Chocolate Tour
There’s nothing like artisan chocolates — especially when accompanied by a behind-the-scenes tour of exactly how they’re crafted. If you’re wandering anywhere near northeast Indiana, Road Trips Foodies, stop off the highway and take a tour of DeBrand Fine Chocolates, 10105 Auburn Park Drive Fort Wayne, Indiana.
You’ll get a 15-minute-video overview of the company’s history, learn all about the DeBrand website and mail order/shipping department, move on to tour the three DeBrand chocolate kitchens (yes, you can watch these artisan chocolates being hand-made) and sample a piece. Of course, the tour ends in the chocolate shop!
Tours, typically 45 minutes, are $5 per person — but each also receives a $5-off certificate good toward any purchase of $10 or more made that day in the shop.
