The annual Pigs and Peaches Barbecue Festival is set for August 26 and 27, 2011, in Adams Park and the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Drive, Kennesaw, Georgia.
Yes, Road Trips Foodies, you can expect plenty of great barbecued meats as well as great desserts featuring peaches.
The Festival includes a Georgia State Championship Barbecue Cook-off, an event sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. There is also a non-sanctioned Backyard BBQ event and a Anything Butt and Peach Dessert Contest.
It’s hosted by City of Kennesaw.
