International Wine, Beer & Food Festival

The fourth annual International Wine, Beer & Food Festival takes p lace November 17, 18 and 19, 2011, in the Steelcase Ballroom, DeVos Place, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Hours are 5 to 10 p.m. November 17, 4 to 10 p.m. November 18 and noon to 9 p.m. November 19.

It’s said to be the largest culinary event in Michigan, and caters to everyone from the connoisseur to the novice.

More than 100 wineries from around the world will provide samples of as many as 1200 assorted wines (including some hard to find, top shelf vintages).

Brewmasters and distillers will also to be on hand providing tastes of their hand-crafted beverages.

Chefs from the area’s top restaurants prepare and serve samples of their culinary specialties.

Seminars, demonstrations and workshops also are planned. Gourmet specialty items and high-end accessories can be found in the Riverfront Marketplace.

Admission to the festival is $15 per person and includes:
· Your sampling glass and official festival program.
· All seminars.
· All food workshops.

Tasting tickets are available for purchase in 50¢ denominations (all restaurant and drink samples are “purchased” with these tickets at various prices).
