The largest foodie event in the Czech Republic is the Beer Festival held each year in Prague.

The fifth edition takes place May 17 through June 2, 2012, in a beer tent that can seat 10,000 aficionados erected at Exhibition Centre Prague-Holešovice (map).

Enjoy the best that Czech breweries, butchers, meat smokers and bakers have to offer. Look for specialty beer from regional brewers as well as steins from better-known names.
