New Chef at the Rhinecliff

huff_phillipPhilip Huff (pictured) has been named executive chef at the Rhinecliff, 4 Grinnell Street, Rhinecliff, New York.

A 1997 graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Huff has held a number of kitchen and front-of-house positions at some of New England’s finest resorts, inns and hotels, including the Stowe Flake in Stowe, Vermont.

Chef Huff is a dyed-in-the-wool farm-to-table advocate working with local farmers and producers whenever and wherever possible.

His innovative use of local products includes several new items this season on the Rhinecliff’s gastropub menu including “Hog wings” and braised pork shank and the appetizer Bacon Praline with Stilton, Apples and Grilled Country Bread.
