A South Florida Culinary Experience
It may be a home show, but — attention Road Trips Foodies — there’s also a Culinary Experience Cooking Stage at the Home Design and Remodeling Show set for October 17 through 19, 2014, in the Broward County Convention Center, Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
South Florida chefs and culinary students will be competing, and the audience gets to have a taste and vote for their favorites.
Among the competitions are a cook-off featuring the culinary students of Dr. Michael M. Krop Senior High School, a cooking competition between Chef James Lubin (Semaj Catering) and Chef Alain Lemaire (Sensory Delights Catering and Secretary General at Haitian Culinary Alliance), a cook-off between Chefs Cristina Iglesias and Chris Perez.
Cooking demonstrations by Chef Wes Bonner of Publix Aprons Cooking School, Chef “Mimi” Charles (Divine Cakery), Chef Stella Giraldella (Basil Personal Chef) and Chef Paulette Bilsky (pictured, at left — Culinary Coordinator and Personal Chef) also are on tap.
The Fort Lauderdale Home Design and Remodeling Show is produced by Home Show Management Corp. and Perl Advertising Group.
