Taste of Tulalip

Submitted by on November 5, 2014 – 8:02 amNo Comment

washington_tulalip_tasteWine is the star at Taste of Tulalip November 15, 2014, but there’ll also be beer, plus food specially prepared by the Food Network’s Ming Tsai to complement the pours.

Tulalip, a resort casino in Washington State, has invited 21 representatives from wineries around the world to pour samples from big-ticket 750ml and large format bottles of limited and rare vintages. This year’s star vino includes heavy hitters like Chateau Cos d’Estournel, Krug Clos du Mesnil, Chateau La Mission Haut-Brion, Harlan Estate, Penfolds Grange, Chateau Lynch-Bages, Verite “La Muse”, M. Chapoutier L’Ermitage Blanc, and CIRQ Pinot Noir.

The Magnum Party brewery lineup will include nine “old and new world” artisan beer leaders, such as Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, Chimay, Double Mountain Brewery, Uinta Brewing Company, Deschutes Brewery, and Breakside Brewery.

The 2014 taste benefits the Tulalip Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization working to improve the well-being of the Tulalip and surrounding communities.

Taste of Tulalip’s Magnum party will take place from noon to 4 p.m. that Saturday, and is only open to those who purchase a Saturday “All Access” ticket at $350 per person (which includes a cooking demonstration, wine seminar, Rock & Roll Challenge and the Grand Taste). There are other, less pricey, ways to participate in the event, including a dinner ($195) November 14 and the Grand Taste ($95) November 15.
