Louisiana Oyster Jubilee
Shellfish aficionados already have March 10, 2012, on their calendars.
That’s when Road Trips Foodies make tracks to New Orleans for the annual Louisiana Oyster Jubilee.
It all takes place on the 300 block of Bourbon Street — you’re looking at the world’s longest oyster po’boy sandwich (what else would you expect?), created by several French Quarter restaurants.
The Louisiana Oyster Jubilee was founded in 2007 by New Orleans Musical Legends, Inc., and the Louisiana Seafood Promotion & Marketing Board.
