Whether you’re content with a half-plate ($8) or want to spring for the full ($10), Road Trips Foodies who love shellfish will be ready to dig in at the “Ahh Shucks! Oyster Feed” set for April 28, 2012, at the Oregon Institute of Marine Biology, 63466 Boat Basin, Charleston, Oregon (map).
Oysters will be prepared in a variety of ways at this Coos Bay location that day, and served with dipping sauces, beans, coleslaw, and rolls.
Gourmet hotdogs are available for the non-oyster fan (although we have no idea what a non-oyster fan would be doing at this foodie festival). Of course, wine and desserts are sold separately.
